DmC Video Game Review

Hello my Kittens~

it's been faar too long since my last blog

sorry about that...

Second Semester started and I'm already suffocated with work...

Anyways I have a few post ready to go to make it up 

for all the laziness~

Today's post as you can tell from the title is the 

New DmC game

DmC if you are not familiar with the series stands for

Devil May Cry

I've been a Devil May Cry girl since I got my PS2

Which was a good more than a decade ago~

God I feel so old...

So like all DmC fans I was outraged by the complete 180 in Dante's look

So angry in fact that I decided I'd quit DmC

But after hearing from so many that the game was amazing

I decided to get it and try it out

Let's just say I was not disappointed

 Let's Start with the Review:

The game is not for kids I tell you!

I read in many other blogs that they don't like the new Dante personality because of the constant

swearing...

I'm sorry but this is where we disagree XD

I'm born with a mouth of a sailor

I curse like there is no tomorrow when playing

and sometimes in real life too

so if anything the cursing is quite enjoyable for me~~

cause we almost say the same curses most of the time =^v^=

Dante's new redone personality makes it look a bit more

like him when he was younger

I know this is not a prequel but it feels like that to me 

so Dante's new redox get a 5/5 for the haircut alone~

and let's note talk about those pretty eyes <3

I'm captivated~~

*Considering I'm a girl that makes me subjective to physical appearances of cute male character~*

Let's move to the Gameplay

If anything the gameplay alone is what made the game awesome

the lines and everything else was meh,

but the gameplay is freaking amazing

so fast paced 

and the new controls of being able to easily juggle all your weapons in a single touch of a button is pretty cool

The Gameplay alone made me replay the game almost as soon as I finished it!!

Only problem is there is no lock button...

it's all fine and whatever when you're attacking ground-based enemies

but when you're trying to shot those annoying aerial-type demons it almost makes you wanna kill yourself...

the whole game is quite easy even on Nephilim(Difficult) level

I usually play Medium difficulty first to get a feel of the game then after finishing it

I move up the difficulties, and it's pretty easy to beat

that kinda took away from the game

since I know regular difficulties in other DmCs kind already let you replay 3-4 times to beat a boss

but in this one you beat the boss and in perfect time score too...

Gameplay gets a 4.75/5 for the minor issues I noticed.

Storyline?

The storyline was ok I guess since it's hard to match up to the older DmCs

but I enjoyed it,

I have this thing where I don't compare games

and guess what it works great

cause if expect games to be all in the same levels you're going to be gravely disappointed.

I enjoyed the story to say the least

Didn't mind Dante's new cute puppy like personality 

Virgil is what made me raise an eyebrow about the whole new shake up

older DmC fans won't trust him like me

not gonna post much spoilers but I really liked the new brotherly relationship the shared 

it was adorable.

I wanted to like Mundus but Goooood he's like a one broken record

his personality bored me...

And no I'm not gonna say nice things about Kat she annoyed me to say the least

at some points I wanted to slap her in the face and yell at her to grow a pair...

the story get a 3.75/5 cause it was enjoyable

So the whole game gets a good 4/5 

which is a good score compared to the other blogs I've seen XD

but seriously I didn't regret getting the game to say the least

Oh yeah totally forgot to talk about the soundtrack!!!

OMG it was EPIC!!!

I loooooved the soundtracks, I'm getting both albums by CombiChrist and Noisia cause 

they were freaking amazing!!

and that gives the game score a new 4.5/5 cause of the awesome music alone~ <3

I live in Narnia or Middle Earth

Hello my Kittens

Today I have a rant post ^w^

I'm going to rant about the freaking stupid shipping

For some reason it is physically hard 

for some people to ship to Kuwait

it's not like I live in Narnia or Middle Earth!!!

My country ships oil to many countries worldwide daily!!

and I get the we don't ship to your location sh*t!!

I know there are other few methods

but I don't want them

I don't feel safe with them

why can't I get stuff shipped directly to my address?

and without Insaaaanse rates...

when the shipping and handling rates are the same price

as what you are ordering if not more

doesn't it make you weep???

I swear to God people I'm not in an isolated island in the Atlantic

nor do I live in the ring of fire to suffer from this >x<

I demand shipping to my location!!!

I also demand cheaper shipping rates to my address 

no need to pay 50+ $ for delivery that takes place between 8-16 days

So freaking expensive!!!

and with that I leave you with this thought

Why must we suffer back-breaking shipping rates??

Assassin's Creed Renaissance Book Review

Hello my Kittens~~

Happy 2013~~

it's been a week since 2013 kicked in and I thought that I should

Do a book review~~

This is so overdue DX

but it won't be long cause I don't want to post spoilers or anything

~~~

So the review is going to be about:

This book is amazing, 

whether you are a fan of the Assassin's Creed Series or just looking for a good book to read

Oliver Bowden stayed quite authentic to the series

take it from me I played the full game over 4 times XD

but it also went deeper into the Character of Ezio Auditore

explaining many things that were a but amiss in the game

I liked the detailed description

the thrill in the book, the events the other characters

the interaction was phenomenal in the book

I'm glad I got the second book already and I'm so going to order the rest of the series soon enough

Also one the nice kinks is like the game you get to learn a lot of Italian ~~

There is two whole glossary in the back of the book 

one with the list of characters of importance 

and the other is the very "creative" phrases and words 

I like it cause it have a lot of curse words XD

Considering I'm a baits opinion on this I give the book a 5/5

1. for keeping me interested 

2. for staying true of the characters 

3. beautiful illustration of the buildings and places

4. the detailed glossary 

5. for the action packed book <3

Happy New Year

Hello My kittens~~

This will be the last post of 2012 for me ~~

I have to say that 2012 has been such a good year

it was a bit stressful due to my struggling in my studies to finally be able to major

But all and all I couldn't have asked for a better year

~~

I say to 2012 thank you so much for being awesome

and I hope and wish that 2013 is going to be better than 2012

I don't know what to post, 

I did do most of my goals for last year, and I'm quite proud

minus the weight loss one

Don't get me wrong I did lose a lot of weight the past few months but it's

cause I gained a bit before XD

Yeah it's not like I'm going over the limit or anything

it's just I'd like to be more fit but I'm not going to kill myself over it

Especially since I don't have a lot of time juggling collage's classes 

Reading, Drawing and studying and all that

hopefully I will stick to that next year though~

But what I enjoyed the most this year

is actually having fun

I really did enjoy myself in 2012 and I hope and pray to continue to do the same next year

I don't know if I have resolutions for next year

 All I want is to have fun

live healthy 

Improve myself and acend to higher levels in my life

and be around my loved ones

cause I know they're the ones that really help in making 2012 the awesome thing it is

so I'm not going to make it longer

thank you guys for for being awesome

have a Wonderful and amazing new year

I wish you all the very best 

But most importantly be safe and have enjoy yourself

for fussing over silly things won't get you anywhere~~

Korean Products review~

Hello my kittens~~

Yes this is finally here~~

I'm going to review all the Korean products I got from

Pretty and Cute website~

So let's get it on~

First I'm going to review the

 Lioele A.C Control Mousse Cleanser~~

So let's talk Mousse Cleanser~

This is sooo awesome!!!

Not because it actually does help greatly with acne 

which it does, since I got it on the week of the month that I break out the most

this lovely thing worked with the help of the TTO body shop products in killing and breakouts~

It's very foamy once you pump it out of the bottle, when you put it on your face it feels soft

and it doesn't feel too harsh, once you wash it your skin will actually feel smooth and velvety 

I was so surprised since I did have bad experience with regular cleanser

this is just beautiful

I use it once a day before I sleep so I won't over-kill my skin

I will re-purchase it again once I run out of it cause it's awesome~~

it get a 10/10 <3

Next is the 

 Etude House: Skin [Mal:Gem] Deep Moist

So I heard and read a lot about this toner being not so good for oil skin

it will make it appear oilier than usual and so on

but I did need a moisturising Toner to go with my cleanser 

cause I get over paranoid and don't want my skin to dry out even though I have oily skin

*it's just that I had a super bad experience with other cleansers*

So I apply this in my morning and night routine

and my face feels nicely refreshed lightly moisturised, and not overdone

and no it doesn't make my face oilier or something 

it actually gives a matte finish

which I'm surprised of

it's very thick, a lot thicker compared to regular toners 

which makes it a perfect winter toner cause you need the extra hydration

though I don't know how it would do in summer

I really really love this product and will probably re-purchase it

once I run out of it for the winter only

cause I don't need too much hydration in summer

8.5/10

Last but not anywhere near least is the 

Tonymoly: Mini Peach Lip Balm 

Best thing in the world!!!

I'm not joking people!!!

I got seriously dry lips thanx to Decutan and anything I use

only works momentarily and not on the long term

but after a few weeks of using this religiously mainly cause it's super cute

and it smells like OMG mouth watering peaches <3

my lips are now back to normal, and now I only use it max 3 times a day

which is a huge improvement when I first got, where I had to use ever 2-3 hours

I just think this a great product I love it

the only problem is it's that it's in a pot

so it's the packaging but the other issue is

I LOVE the packaging

so you can see my issue here XD

Ok the pot is a down side cause it's hard getting the waxy textured balm out

and it catches my cat hair and so on

but the packaging is super cute

so I'll live through it

and I will definitely re-purchase this even before my current one gets depleted cause I love it so much

and can't live without it <3

it get a 9.5/10

 for the packaging confusion XD

Chaos Rings for Android Review

Hello my kittens~~

I have a final tomorrow but here I am doing a post

since I seriously can't post the products review yet, since it's super packed and long

while these I already had my notes for the game while I was playing

so I just put them all in a form~

So the review today is about as the title says Chaos rings~

Chaos rings is a really really good game

it's a turn base JRPG 

which makes it my type of games

When I noticed that it was on the Android market 

and by Square-Enix, which is one of my favourite companies ever

I knew I had to buy it

~~~

So let's talk technical:

The game runs beautifully on my Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100

Android version 4.1.1 

it doesn't lag

and the graphics are really beautiful for a phone game

so porting wise I think Square-Enix spared no resources

as the game is perfectly fitted on my android

~~

Gameplay wise I didn't have the time to finish the game yet

but I love the characters

the voices are in Japanese but it comes with English translation

so no worries

Also the gameplay system is super nice

it's very fluid

might be a bit complicated for those who are not used to Square-Enix or RPGs

but if you are, it'll be smooth sailing from there

the Storyline is quite compelling

I really enjoy games with good storyline above anything.

Now that we went over the good stuff

Let me talk about the thing that annoyed me the most in the game

*dun dun... duuuun*

The freaking controls!!!!

The movement controls suck!!

I would get stuck on air!!!

It's very hard to move around, 

maybe for a a person who is used to touchscreen phone games

*I'm used to them to an extent*

but these controls are horrible...

Excuse me but I'm used to great controls from SE and this is way sub-standard 

and considering you're paying for the game which isn't a very cheap price

I think around 9 US dollars

it's a phone game people...

Though I don't think it's a waste of money

since the game is great and all...

~~~~~

So all and all I will give this game a 4/5

it could've gotten higher if not for the controls

since it deserves it

So I recommend checking it out if you really like RPGs

and if you like SE

or if you have extra money in you pocket and would like to try a new game

that is awesome at everything but the controls...

Art is Life

Hello my kittens~~

Since it's 1 am here and I'm too hyper to sleep

But still not ready to post product reviews just yet

I decided to do a post about art

~~~

I might be a weird combination considering I'm studying to be a scientist 

but still love art in all its forms and shapes

I've always been able to draw

and for some reason when I draw no matter how angry, sad, or upset I am

it all washes away

Art is my sanctuary

Art makes me feel happy and safe

Where I don't need to be anything but me and still feel the best I can ever be

I don't think anything made me feel as centred and in control as Art let me be

Art is a part of me and I am a part of Art.

My journey with art as I said started since I was a kid, I did have an off time around the 

6th grade due to the lack of encouragement and the constant negative feedback

and let me tell you

I never felt so lost and so not in order as I did then

after the 6th grade I went back to art

and it felt so good

Because I was able to express myself again

I was able to be me

I never really got much encouragement from my family

when I was a kid yes they did encourage me

but that stopped when I hit high school

it even came to points where they said to me a few times

"How long do you plan on continuing that silly drawing"

or

"Stop wasting your time and do something useful"

or 

"It's just a drawing why are you making such a big deal of it"

I never stopped though

I never listened to them

because what do they know?

They never experienced this level of ascendant in their minds

nor did the experience the liberating feeling of finishing a drawing

or even drawing to begin with

I don't know how to describe it

I don't think I can

Through good and bad Art has been here

Allowing me to be myself without any prejudice

without any hate

making me feel the best about myself even in my darkest times

even in my loneliest times

Art always made me feel happy 

the feeling is just unexplainable 

it's pure magic

that is Art at it's simplest explanation

It's pure and magical 

So if Anything I am happy and blessed to be an artist

to be able to express myself this way

I might not be the best

or might not be even considered good to many

but I don't care

Because I refuse to leave this entrancing world

just so I can do what people think is appropriate

I just wanted to share how Art affects me

and how important it is to me~

and by the way all these drawing are done by me

Please don't give up on your Art

for there is Nothing

that will make you feel as it does <3
