Sophomore Year begins

Hello everyone~~
I know long time no post,
Buuuuut~
there's a good reason, I've been burning stuff ^w^
OK not literary, it's for a scientific experiment I swear...

So basically this year I started driving to my university alone, which is on it's own is really stressful...
 I'm not a bad driver, but the streets are over crowded, it takes forever to reach my Uni
and some awful drivers always causing problems....

Anyway moving on...
this semester I have four labs, which means I slave in one class for three hours
depending on the instructor,
 Like in the chemistry lab we got to burn magnesium, till it turned white
Above is the burner thingie, it makes a pop sound when you turn it on, quite scary....

 You can see the magnesium ribbon is still burning in the pic, it looked sooo cute, turning from a silvery colored long ribbon into a beautiful and white thingie you see <3
Here when it has completely cooled down, it has the most awful smell when you drop some water on it, and some parts break off and turn green *didn't take a pic, cause I forgot~*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Putting happy moments aside, I have tons of material to cover!!!!
I have two books and 5 notepads and a few I didn't get yet,
That basically mean I have no life this semester....
Yup all of these books are meant to be studied.... except for the Marine Biology book, it's for light reading *Harry Potter reference <3*
This however is the novel I'm currently reading,  excuse the bad flash, it's 'Dark Fire' by C.J. Sansom
I really love it~~  it's set in London in the 1540s, it's very well written and I can barely stop reading it~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Books aside, I will go over how I spend five days a week, and how little life I have....
three days a week I wake up at 6:45 am and get ready for my first class,
I come home at................ 5:00pm.....
and I come back exhausted with no energy to go online... *explaining the lack of blogging...*

the rest of the week I wake up the same time, but come home earlier...
Oh and not to forget, the scorching weather, no autumn for us.....
And I can't have a life this semester....

Well that's pretty much it for my rant~
I needed to get it of my chest~

Thanx for reading~  and see you on the next post~

Dealing with the Sickness

Hello Everyone~~
I actually racked my brain whether to post this blog or another one with a different topic,
But I thought this would be more appropriate, considering that the change of seasons is when most
People get sick,
I always hated using man made anti-bio-tics, they always tasted horrible and they effect your natural immune system.
So Here are some of my favourite home remedies, that I have tried and worked perfectly fine for me~
P.S. This post might be long, because I'm trying to cover all my home remedies here, which are quite a few ^w^

First are the things you should always do no matter what your symptoms are:

1- Sleep~~
or just resting and lying down in general, it helps your body focus on fighting what's causing you sick,
and I found out that I get better quicker when I'm taking it easy while I'm sick.

2- Hydration
You know water is good for you, there is no reason for you to stop drinking it when you're sick,
think of water as a cleansing mechanism, it cleans your body from toxins all the time, it will help you clean up the sickness quicker. *I love water <3*

3- Vitamins
Multivitamins and especially vitamin C helps prevent getting sick, and when the sickness already occurred it helps reduce the symptoms. I'm not saying go pill pop or something, I can't eat citrus fruits cause I get an annoying allergic reaction where all around my mouth gets red and itchy, that's why I substitute with tablets, but if you can get them of more natural sources it's even better
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now for the more specific remedies for specific symptoms ^w^:
A-  Sore Throat:
I inherited my dear mother's gigantic tonsils, and anything could agitate them, before I used to be terrified of sore throats, cause it always ended up in causing a cough *which never goes away quickly.
that was I discovered my ultimate sore throat healer *Drumroll please*
1- Green Tea~~ <3
OMG!!! I love green tea so much!!!! It does wonders for sore throat, and for your body in general,
considering it's packed with antioxidants and all the good stuff for you, green tea is like miracle healer or something *at least for me* I take my green tea with a spoon and a half of honey *which is also good for you* twice a day and the next morning, my sore throat is gone~~~
2- Honey <3
First of all, no processed honey, it's not going to work. It's preferably organic, but the honey I use is straight from the honey farms, full with the wax which is stores the honey in, so I know it pure and awesome.
Also did you know that honey never spoils, like ever!! I'm not getting into that long story or all the amazing properties of it, but if you want a quick fix, a spoon full of honey *which might be incredibly sweet* calms your throat right away and makes it feel better.
3- Olive Oil
  Ok, I'm not really a fan of this remedy, not because it doesn't work *which is does amazingly*, but because of it's taste *it's sooo bitter* you need to take also a spoon full of olive oil *yuck it tastes so horrible, it's like the opposite of honey* and your rough cough exhausted throat will calm immediately.
4- Hot Lemon
 That's my mom's favourite remedy *I prefer green tea :P* when I was younger my mom would always boil some lemons in hot water and makes me drink it *it's not that bad tasting though* she also put a bit of honey for that extra kick to fix me quickly. *Also a quick tip, if you inhale the steam from the boiling lemon water it helps open your clogged nose ^w^*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

B- Clogged nose *no better name for it, cause it's the truth :P*

There is so much you can do to fix a runny nose and now we start with the:

1- Boiling water steam
Put a towel over your head and inhale the steam, careful not to get burned, steam burns are worse than boiling water burns. It's even better if there were some lemon slices, chamomile and mint leaves in the water *boil it with the water, not add them later* that will really help.

2- Chili Paste??
Probably my favourite idea ever, did I mention that chili paste also help with the sore throat?? Well, but for it to work you need to use really spicy chili paste *if you have no endurance don't use it* I always loved spicy Indian food, so this is kinda perfect for me, I usually take not so much, around three drops and place is in the center of my tongue *don't ask why, but that's the only spot where it works perfectly* I leave it a bit and inhale slowly and my clogged nose starts opening up~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So basically these are all my home remedies, I hope they're useful and help you keep the sickness at bay~
and thank you for reading ~~ <3
See you guys on the next post,and take care
Bye Bye Artblock
Hello Everyone~~
For the past month I wasn't able to draw anything
*Queen of Make believe is an exception, that's a story for another day though*
 So I'm just gonna post some of the stuff I've been working on~
This one here is inspired by *if you can't tell yet* Assassin Creed~~~
She doesn't have a name because she's a spur of the moment,
She wasn't planned or anything *So many jokes run through my mind now* I just took the paper and sketched away *that's why the pose looks king awkward...*
To the Second one~~~
A mermaid yes~~~
Her name is Sheng Wei *was listening to Zhu Xian Qing Zui by Dong Zhen and Sheng Wei and it gives me goosebumps everytime I hear them sing <3*
Well that's it for this post, don't wanna make it too long~~~
See you guys soon
MindJack Game review
Hello Everyone~~
Today is a video game review <3
So the game is called MindJack on PS3
"Disclaimer: All copy right go to Square-Enix of course, and I own nothing
nor do I gain any money what so ever from it, or am sponsored, These are my honest thoughts."
Now let's begin~
Oh dear God, where do I start?
Actually one of the main reasons I picked this game up is because I love Square-Enix games alot!!
I would totally get a game just because it's produced by Square-Enix, and most of the time I find it very very entertaining and fun...
So now to the MindJack
The potential of the game is beyond borders, I like the idea, and the story a lot
But sadly it has to many faults that the game's story cannot redeem I'm afraid.
And now to the faults:
1- Awful controls: The controls are plain horrible, and the movement is so slow that I almost turned off the game just for that!!
2- Sounds Catastrophe: I couldn't hear any line at all from the game, I don't know why but the character's voices are so freaking low, even though I adjusted the BGM and SFX to be zero and put the Voice volume on Max, and had to turn the volume on my T.V so high that I could hear the weird buzz when you turn the T.V volume so high and there is no voices and still can barely hear the voices....
3- The unreadable Font *Subtitles*: You might think Ok, since the voices are not audible to human ears, why not try reading the subtitles instead? Why? Because the subtitles are like tiny ants, it's so small that even with my glasses and me squinting only around *maybe less* 40 inches away from screen I can't read it clearly... I mean what were they thinking when they put the font size so small??? My guess is the font size is less than 12, yes it's that small. And No I'm not the only one who complained about the font, even my sis and my friend... so basically, you can't hear the voice actors, and you can't read the subtitles, how the hell are you supposed to play?
4- Graphics: They weren't so great, I'd seriously expected more from Square-Enix *though my friend did find the main hero cute*
I only played the game less than an hour, and that hour was pure torture
Between trying different set ups to see if I can't make the voices louder, or the font bigger
and struggling to play a game I cannot do anything they ask of me because I simply don't know how
I had to look at the manual *I hate looking at manuals* for control TIPS!!! I didn't know how to control
the character, due tot he awful glitches.
and had to die a few times because I can't aim correctly due to the crappy set up controls, and no you cannot adjust them... and if so, I don't know how, cause the game is not that helpful.
I do wish Square-Enix would fix those problems, because the game has a magnificent story potential
and the idea of taking control over other people is so much fun.
Would I recommend this for anyone to buy?
No, I wouldn't, because unless these problems are fixed, playing the game is near impossible
unless some people like to shot enemies without being able to hear or read the story and
without knowing what to do exactly.....
I seriously have nothing against Square-Enix
as I said before I'm huge fan of them, I really really love the company
and that's why I'm so sad and disappointed to see such a low quality game carry their name,
I hope they do better next time.
So that's it for this post, I know there's a lot of talking but it's a game review!!
See you soon
and Love & Kisses to all of you my lovelies <3
