Acne, There is Hope

Hello my kittens~~~

So this post was a bit hard for me to decide to do

but since I know so many suffer from acne or acne scars

I thought hey what the hell

~~~

So as you all know I have always struggled with acne and acne scars

I still fight with the scars till now,

but it's now getting better

sadly I don't have pictures of when my acne was most active 

cause back then I hated myself and my skin soo bad

because it was so ugly

even though I did everything I could to make it go away

but nothing worked

Last year a bit before I turned 19 I had enough, 

I went to a different dermatologist who finally prescribed Decutan for me

which cleared up my skin nicely

so no more acne cause it's dead~~

I still get the occasional zit here and there

but that's nothing a bit of Tea Tree oil can't fix

After so much work with clarifying products and toners and cleansers

I finally got to my goal skin

I still have a bit of redness and pores

but I can work with that

for that can be dealt with also

No filter or photshop used for these pics

nor makeup~~~

I'm so happy and tearing up right now because 

I remember once I was out with my family to the avenues 

and a guy made a very mean comment about my acne saying

"look at her pimple! it's so huge!! why can't she wash her face or something"

I still remember it to this day cause it hurt me so much

but now I can tell him to shove down his throat

cause not only did I finally get my skin cleared up

but  now I'm not as self concious 

this journey only made me stronger!!

So to everyone out there who is suffering from acne

I tell you there is hope,

it will get better if you take care of it

and that you are not alone 

Nor are you ugly

you're beautiful no matter what people say

so that's it for this post~

Decutan Full Review

Hello my kittens~~

Even though I was supposed to do a movie review

I wanted to post this one first

cause I totally forgot about doing it in time

*sorry for the long post...*

Anyways let's go~~~

Let's start from the beginning~~

I am an almost 20 years old female

My whole life I had acne,

in High school it was bad

but thank god we didn't have bullying in my school

so it didn't really add on my already depressed mentality.

I had huge ugly cystic acne with white heads

it would hurt just to bend over!!!

I hated my face,

I went almost for a year without looking at my face in the mirror

I would just focus on something else...

I tried many things, nothing worked out

My mom told me it will fade away by collage

So when I went to collage,

it didn't... 

It actually got worse....

so I went to a dermatologist

she gave a lot of topical creams

I spent a lot of many

it worked for a bit

then it stopped making any difference 

So I stopped using her creams and went to a different dermatologist

He told me that's a medicine is a better for me

than topical creams.

so I said sure hit me, I already tried almost everything.

the medicine was a bit expensive

and having to pay for it and go to collage and eat and all that

but my parents helped me a bit so I'm grateful for them <3

Ever since I took it I stopped breaking out,

everything was peachy minus two side effects

Dry skin and dry lips....

So if you don't know

Decutan is an acne drug, used to treat hard cases of acne

I was on Decutan since 1st of August 2011, My last pill was someday of February 2012

*don't remember the date...*

I was dreading the day cause I thought everything will be back to how it was

that I would break out and life would be hell again....

I actually delayed the last pill for a day so I wouldn't stop...

but eventually I had to take it...

and a week after I stopped I didn't feel any difference!!

no break out, no problems nothing

and if I do get a pimple it would be tiny

and go away on it own!!!

I'm soo happy I was on it

even though I had nose bleeds

and I still suffer from dry lips

and sometimes dry skin 

if I don't moisterize well enough

but I got rid of it!!! I no longer have acne~~~

and Now I'm on the road to dealing with acne scars....

I will soon post my after Decutan skin routine

and what are my products

the stuff I use~

Also there will be three skin product reviews coming up

one very soon

and the others I need to test them first so wish me luck ^w^

How I deal with acne

Hello everyone~~ <3

Today's post is going to be about something most of us struggle with

Acne

Acne's a royal pain in the a$$, it's annoying it's depressing and ultimately it's hard to get rid of...

I suffered from acne for as long as I remember,

and it was quite a depressing subject to me,

In fact I spent most of my secondary school avoiding mirrors cause I hated my face...

It didn't get any better in high school

But luckily we don't have bullying in our school, I guess it's cause girls just don't care

I tried all kind of treatments for my face but

Nothing worked....

Well I went to collage *my acne problems had became less compared to how it was in high school*

But I decided to visit a dermatologist

She gave me all kind of creams, treatments whatever you call it

the result was the same it barely did anything....

Then I visited another dermatologist, this guy instead of giving my creams and what not gave me

this *Drumroll please*

He gave me these pills called Decutan *obviously*

They target the main reason why you break out, oily skin and secretion

Ever since I used them I noticed less breakouts my skin is clearing up

but because I have very old scars so it might take a while

But all and all, it has done wonders for my skin and I love it~~~ <3

For someone who suffered from serious acne a couple of pimples every two weeks is awesome

But I'm still at my second course so it's still too early to tell ^w^

However it has several cons that I need to discuss:

#It dries the face sooo badly, but that can be dealt with with a special moisturiser your dermatologist

can recommend. 

#It kills the lips!!! I can't get my lips to be fully moisturised just using my regular lip balm

I have to use intensive lip therapy to fix them :(

#It drains water out of your body, so you need to drink twice the amount you usually do.
